This article really shook my confidence in some of the “facts” I thought I knew about longevity. The pension fraud example from Greece is particularly alarming. How can we be sure that our understanding of what’s biologically possible isn’t just a reflection of past administrative incompetence? I’m curious if anyone here has seen this issue discussed in recent conferences or papers—is the field starting to take this seriously, or is it being ignored because the data is too inconvenient?
