    There is a profound difference between being correct and being sincere. Correctness follows rules; sincerity follows conviction. You can say all the right words with a hollow heart, and people will sense the disconnect. Alternatively, you can stumble through an imperfect explanation with raw sincerity, and that clumsiness becomes beautiful. Sincerity grants permission: permission to be unfinished, to change your mind, to say “I don’t know.” It rejects the exhausting performance of having everything figured out. In relationships, sincerity is the soil where trust grows. Without it, even grand gestures feel transactional. With it, a simple “I’m here” becomes unforgettable.
